Our Past
With time and the guidance from Ms Chan, the band see itself as an exuberant clan constantly seeking opportunity and moving towards greater heights. 'A Family Towards Musical Excellence' a motto which, at all times, motivates its members and had allowed the band to stand strong throughout the many challenges.
In the year 2005, the band was awarded its first Gold Medal in the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Concert Band (Junior College). This great achievement had amplified the band's confident and did the school proud. in December 2005, the band went for its first overseas trip (to Hong Kong) for a Musical Exchange Programme with two of the colleges there. The trip not only allowed the band to learn much in terms of musical knowledge, but also a chance to engage in meaningful interactions and experiences. With the continuous hardwork of its dedicated members and resident conductress, the band aim for greater achievements in the days to come and look forward to bringing great music to the audiences.
